There are mods in which you can have kids, but they grow at the normal rate. I do not know of any mods where your kids grow enough, during the course of a play-through, to actually bear arms. It would not be that hard to implement, plenty of mods have companions come as a result of a quest, it just would not make sense without messing with the flow of time.
In Bannerlord, it seems that time runs at a different rate I, personally, hope they rethink the new flow of time, but that's me. Last edited by Tuidjy ; 9 Jun, pm. And, trust me, that will happen eventually. Even with battlefield deaths disabled, characters get older and will eventually die from old age—it's just not yet clear whether death from old age is working in the Early Access version of Bannerlord right now. But why take that chance when you can be meeting hot singles in your neighborhood, getting hitched, and creating a family?

That means you talk with her when you want to award a fief to one of your lords or she can give you a quest to improve relations with the king if you are a vssal or between lords in your own faction.
