This is the same case for MW3. Its an updated version of MW2, with all the stuff we hated from MW2 removed and extra features added. Yes the gameplay is much the same as MW2, but I really enjoyed how that game played.

It's not that it's bad, to be honest, it's probably the best interface that I've ever thought felt a bit like a console menu, but I could still feel it. Maybe when I get back to playing it, I'll get used to it and I'll like it.

The only thing I found I kept doing was hitting escape to exit the inventory system, and it bringing up the main menu. Forgetting I had to hit tab to close the inventory etc. From what I know, you can also assign spells etc to number keys, but I was sticking to using the Q menu.
